VirtualDub play MTS format but no audio

Hi All,

I am trying to convert MTS video clips to mpeg. I use directshowsource to load the MTS clip into VirtualDub.
I can play the video but not audio. I am running Windows7 and already install AC-3 ACM codec 2.2. VirtualDub version 1.9.1.1.
This is my video format.

Please let me know what I have not done right.

Have you tried convert? No audio then also?

I wouldn't trust the video preview in virtualdub.

Yes, I converted the video from MTS to AVI. Video is OK but no audio.

DirectShowSource() rarely will use an ACM codec. You need an appropriate (read: NON-microsoft) DirectShow filter for AC3.

Also, you could/should remux the MTS to MKV, and then use FFMS2 instead.

I install AC3Filter 2.5b and it works.
Now, both sound and video.
