I'm having an issue with the extended display on my computer.
Here is the hardware:
Computer: HP Pavilion Media Center Elite m9340f
Desired primary monitor: HP f17903
Desired extended monitor: Westinghouse LCD TV: LTV-32W1
Video display driver:
As I currently have it set, the HP monitor is the primary monitor, but when I restart the computer the desired extended monitor (the TV) becomes the primary. Because of this, it takes the highest resolution the TV can support (which is out of the range for the HP monitor to support). So I have to always fiddle around with the settings in order to get to my desired settings again.
How can I set it so that the computer will remember that my computer monitor should ALWAYS be the primary monitor?
Here is a screenshot of NVIDIA control panel that allows me to control these settings:

As you can see, the control panel identifies that TV as "1" and the monitor as "2". I have a feeling this has something to do with my issue, but I don't know how to actually change that. Anyone have any ideas?

Unplug the TV then reboot, the HP should show up as 1. Connect the TV and check the Display Properties, the HP should be on the left side and is number 1. The TV should be on the right and number 2.

Tried this countless times before and that never worked. The problem with this is that, even if I unplug the TV, the computer still thinks the TV is the primary monitor and won't show anything on the HP monitor, making it impossible to do anything because I can't see. Any other suggestions?
