I'm using Video Thumbnails Maker and ffdshow for resize. It would be nice if VTM support perfect resize, but it's built-in resizer leaves a blended pixel on frame borders that I don't want to see, so I use ffdshow for resize.
But the problem is that when I use 'choose shot manually' feature in VTM, then preview image appears squished by vertically. The final result is fine, but squished images on preview make it harder to pick right frame I want.
I figured it out that it resize only by vertically. So if resizing value in ffdshow configuration is 960x540, then 720p video resized to 1280x540, and 1080p video resized to 1920x540. (more squished)
When unchecked ffdshow resize, preview shows just fine. But the result is not what I want. So I want to fix this ffdshow problem or want to know if there's any alternative filter for resize that can be used with VTM. I've also tried every other thumbnail generator I found, 10 or more, but none of them offered features that I need as much as VTM does.
