  1. Hello everybody!
I've searched around but didn't find anything useful.
Well, my problem is that I haven't been able to resize a video from 1920x1440 to 1920x1080 the thing a actually want is to be able to play video on a HD tv which plays videos with max resolution of 1920x1080p.
The catch is that I don't really want to lose anything from the bitrate, it's a really old video so everything counts.
Whe I play it on my Pc, beacause is not a 16:9 video I have to black bars on both sides of the screen.
I'm not an expert at this so I apologize if I've offended someone with my ignorance.
This is a screen capture from the video : https://forum.videohelp.com/images/imgfiles/N6D3c.jpg
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.

VirtualDub and Ultra video Joiner should do the job. Ultra video joiner is not free though but is effective. II have used Avidemux , which is much like vd , but virtualdub is better.

Try convert a shorter sample using for example handbrake and see how it looks like on your tv. Under the video tab can you adjust the bitrate to similar as your source if you want same output size. Under the picture tab set it to 4:3 frame size for best compatibility.

  4. What you have is a standard definition video 4:3 that's been upscaled to 1440x1080. Resize to 1440x1080. If that doesn't work resize to 1440x1080 and add black pillarbox bars to make it 1920x1080. If that doesn't work resize to 640x480.
