  1. hi, when converting the first half of all my avi files into mpg with tmpgenc, at the end i get 'error encoding audio' and a file that is unplayable! does anybody know why this is happening and how it can be corrected? i'm using kwag's pal template, i've tried it with others aswell. this is the info of the avi. file i'm encoding with!

    Length 50m 55s
    38188 frames 352W x 288H, 24 bits per pixel
    12.50 frames/sec
    Video compression: mp43
    Stereo audio, 24000 x 0-bit samples/sec
    Audio data rate = 7000 bytes/sec
    Average size per frame = 3669 bytes

    I think we all get a 99% error but the output should be just fine. If your output is no good then there is something wrong with the AVI.

    Just encode a few minuets, is it ok ? If not check the AVI for bad frames.

    The error usually happens when the video length and audio length at the end are different.
