im a newbie so sorry if this has been answered before


i have burned a video onto a vcd, when i try to play it in the player, it says C 13.00

it used to say "no disc" then i tried on a different disc and now it says this. is there any way to fix this?

are you using cd-rw? as it will not work with cd-r's ( I have 550 one model below yours and it took me a while to figure this out ...lol ).

I have Sony DVP s536d and I found that it will only play vcd/svcd if you use either datasafe of vivistar discs, the ones with a light blue die colour to the write surface, I also know a few people with other Sony models and they found that the only brands that played on there's were also the datasafe and vivistarl.
