The site http://www.digitaltheatre.com/ has tons of movies that I'd like to be able to play on my TV using my WDTV. But I have no idea what the format is. They apparently only allow it to be played in their own proprietary player. Does anyone know what the format is and/or how to convert it to something else?

    Thanks,
    Lisa

  2. Their website mentions Adobe Air, so it's likely Flash based (most likely h.264/aac), and encrypted since these have paid user fees

Likely the only reliable way to convert it for use in other software or hardware player is to use a screencapture application like replay media capture, camtasia etc...

(but that would probably violate their terms of service... just saying...)
