    Ok. I installed DivX codec 3.11 alpha.
    Installed SmartRipper & FlaskMpeg.
    I ripped the DVD to my HDD
    With FlaskMPEG converted the movie from MPEG2 to MPEG4 as i think using fast motion codec.
    1st.) Problem is that when i play the AVI output file that FlaskMPEG produced i get AV desynch.
    2nd.) Question. What must i do next to make a VCD . Should i convert the AVI file with TMPGENG 1.2+ to produce a Mpg file and then burn it with Nero??? I think i would get a larger file produced than the AVI ?? How am i going to fit it in a 80 min CD...?

    Check out the above link to do rips. I use this method and I get GREAT quality vcds.
