Combining 2 videos

Hi!
I was on google trying to find a solution to my problem but I couldn't come up with appropriate words to describe it. I have those 2 videos and I'd like to produce a cleaner version with the top of the first video on the second one.. so you'd see the top of the first video and the bottom of the second one. I hope that you got what I'm saying. Is there any software or tool that can do that job? like a virtual dub plug-in or something? I never used any fancy software like sony vegas so I have no idea what I'm missing thank you in advanced!!
