  1. I have a video which was taken with an iphone and then sent from a Mac pc to mine which is windows 7, and i can not read it or edit it. I want to edit it but i''m not capable of doing so because it's format is .MOV, i tried many times to convert it to .mp4 or .avi but nothing seems to work. If anyone could answer me i would appreciate it. Thank you in advance.

  4. It's just standard h.264 video, aac audio - you can edit it with any NLE e.g. vegas pro, premiere pro

Free editors like avidemux should be able to open it as well

You can play it with normal media players e.g. VLC, MPCHC, SMplayer

You can convert it with something like TEncoder, WinFF, avidemux

It's variable frame rate video (VFR)- so editing it may cause sections to go slightly out of sync. You would have to convert it to CFR before editing in most applications

  5. When i double click on the video Vlc opens and does not play anything whereas Media player says that : Windows Media Player can not play the file. It is possible that the reader does not take care of the file type or the codec used to compress it.

This can't be the real video, it's too small. Either it's damaged, or something (lots) missing

Can you confirm the size of the video ?
