    Hi,

    I've tried to rip the subtitles in one of my DVD's using VobSub Configure &/or VSRip, but I've found that the subtitles are all empty, even for all languages.

    So, I decided to use PgcDemux to extract SUP files and then convert them to idx/sub.

    After obtaining the SUP files, I have 2 options:

    1- Subtitle Creator, which caused that some lines are highlighted and some are normal.

    2- BDSup2Sub (I read somewhere that it possible to use it to convert DVD SUPs into idx/sub), which is giving me the below error message:

    Is there any other way to convert SUP into idx/sub files.

    I would appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

    Regards,
    Mouna.

  2. Do the two kinds of subs look different when you play the DVD? Like different colors for the text?

    You can make them the same in DVDSubEdit and then try extracting the VobSubs again with VobSubConfigure.

    Or, if you intend on making another DVD, just use the SUP file you got in Muxman (or IFOEdit) when reauthoring.

    I can't test any of what I said because I don't know how to create subs like you have.

    @manono

    Thanks for your reply. The subs are played normally in the DVD Player.

    The issue with VobSub is that the extracted subs are empty all the way.

    I think this is something related to the structure of the DVD itself.

    @MilesAhead

    Many thanks for your great help

    That thread resolved my issue.

    I've just brought the related .ifo file from the DVD (VTS_02_0.IFO)

    Renamed it to (Subpictures_23.IFO) to match the name of the SUP file (Subpictures_23.sup).

    I choose the .IFO file in BDSup2Sub and the subs are loaded perfectly now and I can convert them to idx/sub.

    Thanks again.
