    Every time i make a VCD or SVCD or anything, the sound is about 1 second off from the picture. i use nero to make my vcd's & svcd's. How do i make it so the sound is correct?

    BTW, i have an apex 1100w and an HP cd-writer.

    Be sure the sound was okay after the encoding to MPeG. If it is, then your authoring tool is 'stinking'.
    Get rid of Nero for (S)VCD authoring. Use some other tool for that (VCDwizard is such)...
