How to convert video to uncompressed 15 RGB?

I have a video and I want to take the .avi and convert it to another .avi to uncompressed 15 RGB, is there a program out there that help me do it? Any idea what it is called?

What do you mean by "uncompressed 15 RGB" ?

Do you mean RGB24 ? 8bits per channel ?

If so, virtualdub can do it


Or did you mean 5bits per channel? vdub can do that too

I tried virtualdub but I do not see the option of 15 bit RGB. I only see 16 bit 555 as the choice is that the samething as 15 bit?

I don't know what it is in vdub but ffmpeg can do it as well.

ffmpeg -i input.avi -pix_fmt rgb555le -acodec copy output.avi

edit:
I just did a quick test both appear to be RGB555 (5 bits per channel, 15 bits total)
