Firmware for Tevion DVD-2002

hi,
recently I bought the DVD-Player Tevion DVD-2002. It workes fine, but some DVD are not recognized.
Now I'm seaching the latest Firmware but can't find it.
The manufacturer siemssen no longer has a homepage.
On the medion-site the modell is not listed.
The only Version I found on ZDNet was V2.49, which is the Version already installed on the player.
Can anyone help me?
Maybe someone has the files and can send it to me.
I would also be thankful about a manual for this player.

"Firmware" isn't going to help if you are trying to play DVDs from other regions.

Thank you for answering.
The DVDs I mentioned are not with foreign region codes (btw: there is a code to switch in codefree-modus).
The topic is VCD, SVCD and burned DVDs.
In many posts it is mentioned that the player gets the ability to read more formats with a firmware-update.
