I'm rendering a movie from 1280x720 60fps gopro footage which was convted to AVI using MP4Cam2AVI to Lagarith (have also tried HuffyUv and Divx latest - same result). When I start the render on the first clip it runs along smoothly at around 10fps, which is around the speed I would expect. When it reaches a crossfade to the next clip it slows right down to 2fps - again as I would expect. However, when it then continues rendering after the crossfade, it doesn't speed up again. It stays at 2-3fps, even though it is only rendering unaltered footage - no titles or effects.
Any ideas ?
Thanks

I think I have the solution. I played the resulting file and there was a jerk in the play every second or so - turned out the gopro footage is at 59.92fps not 59.94fps, as per normal NTSCx2 frame rate. Am now rendering to 59.94 using Virtualdub (with time stretch filter to keep sync). Should work....
