Trying to capture a tape yesterday with my trusty Philips VR1100(JVC Clone) machine, I kept getting random, intermittent errors during the capture. Out of desperation I reached over and turned off the TBC and the capture started working perfectly. REWIND....RECAPTURE. You learn something new everyday.
