Ok this time of year lots of companies have their break times and people will add on to it with their own vacation days.

So do you plan out any special projects to complete during this time?

Do you plan to finish that video project or start a new one?

    Do you travel?

Do you just "veg" out and ignore the rest of the world for ahwile?

    Do you play video games?

Do you catch up on movies and tv shows that you haven't been able to watch?

    -------------------------------

What do you do on your vacation?

    ---------------------------------

Me? I've got some video games I'm planning on tackling. I've also got some stuff I want to work on with my tablet (mainly getting that "hide root" stuff to work so I can get ultraviolet and other mainstream streaming sites to work on my offbrand tablet that came rooted out of the box. (though a side note I can actually use the CRACKLE app which surprised me)

I think I'm also going to try to pick up the piano or guitar again.

I still have my rockband piano and the FOR DUMMIES program that I got for the computer. I did try it a little bit but didn't keep it up.

I also still have my old acoustic guitar that I bought a few years ago. I think I want to try to get back into learning to play one of the two. (self taught stuff). I suppose If I were serious I'd buy a decent quality instrument and pop for some actual lessons. But I am not that committed to it yet. We'll so how it goes. Assuming I don't just waste my whole time playing Halo 4 and the older TALES OF games on the ps2 and gamecube
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I got some old vinyl records, some back in the 40's, to capture and make WAV files from. Starting to figure out what I need. Looking at turntables for this, etc.

I might stay away from those players with the usb out on them. I don't think the quality would be very good on those particular models. Probably just patched together for a quick sale.

I'd look for a name brand record player.

Don't forget you need a stereo with a ground or an adapter to the ground stuff. (of course I'm not an expert so somebody might have a workaround for that).
