    ok bought a dvd rom drive (a lite-on) and i'm experimenting with ripping the fast and the furious dvd... i downloaded several different tools like smartripper 2.41, dvdx 1.6, dvd2avi 1.76 and i made hardcopies of the guides... i rip the dvd with smartripper, no problem there! but when i try to convert in dvdx or dvd2avi it starts 10 minutes into the movie?!?!?!?!
    i expirence the same problem with swordfish but not with snatch and blade?!?!?

    am i doin' sommethin' wrong or have others encountered the same problems???

    convert?

    dvd2avi is only a frameserving tool so you can frameserve the vobs to tmpgenc to encode...

    in dvd2avi, you should only be making a project file, not .avi file..
