  1. I have just installed DVDx and all the codecs required. I have a DVD that has been ripped to disk. When I select the Preview option I get the error "Encoding has failed to start". The error detail, Log and Process Input Channel information is included below.

    It doesn't look good.

    I would probably try the old good autogk for dvd to avi divx/xvid conversion. Open the vts01_0x.ifo from the dvd and convert.

  3. Thank you for the reply. I have been working on reviewing all the options and noticed that I had 0db set up for the audio. I changed it to 12db, anything more than zero, and for whatever reason it worked putting out a Preview clip. Now it keeps failing by giving me an "invalid path" error. Yet the path(s) are correct.

    I already had AUTOGK installed. It gave me a good preview clip and is now converting the movie to an AVI format. We'll see how that turns out.
