My case:
I found this fansub video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-EmdLHG_uU) that shows how to encode one MP4-video. I have several files in MPG-format that I want to be converted into typical anime/tv-series 720p-quality files. My MPG-files are about 700~800mb (each video is about 22 mins long). I am NOT going to use any subs on my videos!
My question/problem:
I want to make my MPG-files into MP4-files AND into 720p (HD) quality with normal filesize (250~350mb). HOW do I do this? Are there any tutorials on how I do this? The guy in that youtube video seems to be having several profiles that I do not have, making my task more difficult.
So. How do I do this..?
