I have this player and it can play DIVX movie files in avi format stored on a usb drive. The problem is it seems that whenever i fast forward a movie say maybe 1 hr and upwards it gets stuck like the player cannot read it anymore.
Is this a problem with the player itself or do i need to somehow encode the file so that it can be fast forward and reversed from start to end?

I had the same problem with my 3560. I discovered that if a DIVX or XVID was encoded with Mencoder that would happen. I used MediaInfo to check the AVI. If it has Mencoder in the upper right corner of the window I load it into MPEG4 Modifier and convert it, it takes about a minute. You don't have to change any of the settings. Just load it in and save it. Check the saved AVI and you should see that that portion (upper right) is now blank. That solved the problem for me.

ok a file that i know that doesn't fast forward till the end doesn't have that mencoder logo. Looks like i'll load it into mpeg4 modifier and perhaps see if they have other options.
