  1. Hi everyone!
Fist of all i'm very new to this, and not tech-savy at all so please be patient/trryr explain things to me like you would to a child haha
I've recently purchased a Samsung Smart TV (Series 7000) and i was trying to play some games from Steam by connecting my pc to it via a HDMI cable. I connect it from my cpu to the tv and i get the image fine, but i receive no audio no matter what i try.

    I have Windows 7 (x64) - AMD Phenom II X4 840 Processor - 3.20GHz
    6GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce GT 430.

There's a software here that manages the audio, i think??
It's called VIA HD Audio Deck

    Any help is truly appreciated

Have you select the hdmi audio as default/enabled sound device? In the windows volume control.

Or can't you see anything like that?

  4. Thank you for the anwers!
Well, i do seem to have a HDMI going on. But even when i have it selected as default, all i get is still the image, not audio. Also, i have the speakers ("alto-falantes") disconnected when i do this
