Whenever I am burning a blu-ray using Imgburn, when partially done, it ejects the disc and then can't automatically close the drive, so it asks me to close the drive and then the job finishes. The problem is: this delays the burning because if I am not physically there to close the drive again, the burning process is on hold until I can close it. I checked my settings on Imgburn and the only reason I can think of that is causing this is the "Cycle tray before verify" box is checked under write in settings. Is this the problem?

    Oy Vey....

Yeah, the burn is done but the tray is opening and you have to close it again for ImgBurn to verify the burned disc to the image or folder you just burned!!

It's not that the burn is not finished......
So actually there is NO delay in the burning process!!

If it is burning only half or part way and ejecting then you think it is finishing the burn after you close the tray, you would be having mad coasters!!

And if your tray is not closing on it's own when Imgburn tries to close it, then you have other issues with your drive.

TURN OFF or UNCHECK verify after burning!!

Yeah I have the latest version of imgburn. It looks like the burning is done but it is now verifying the burned disc to the folder. I will uncheck verify after burning. Thanks

  5. There are some comments on the Imgburn forum about some laptops DVD drives doing the open tray thing. Here's one answer found on their forum:

"That the tray has to be closed manually happens on slimlinebased drives that fails to take instruction on close the tray.

If you don't want the tray to open up after the verify, you can change that in the settings."
