where has this been since the 360 launched?
so far i allready like it better than ps3s weak ass browser. only downside is you have to use the analog stick to type instead of the d pad. it takes foever!
i may just have to buy that mini im keyboard for the controller.
iwonder if this does flash.
i am ttyping this with it now and like it except typing the virtual keyboard with the analog stick. havent used a usb keyboard yet.

Did you just do an update ?
I worked on someones 360 like 2 weeks ago and when I went online it said I needed an update in order to go into Xbox Live marketplace, afterwards the dashboard looked more like a website loaded with ad's than it did a gaming console!!
Had IE, Bing, and a bunch of other garbage!!!
I swear, everytime they do an update they just make it worse and more of a joke!!
Harder to find stuff and more of a SPAM dashboard to try and get you to spend more and more $$$!!
Just when I think I could not hate M$ more, they go an prove me wrong!!!
EDIT:
I forgot to make it clear, but the way it looked to me was they wanted you to PAY $$ to get or use IE on your 360 console!!
WTF!!!Last edited by Noahtuck; 5th Dec 2012 at 22:29.

It didn't ask for ms points so its not extra. Yep I just did update. I don't care what they do with the dash. I can find what I need quickly enough.
I don't stay on the dash long so it doesn't mean much to me.
I've just got into halo4 fully and love it a lot.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
this is a test of the new chatpad i just bought.
it does work nicely. it was odd though it didnt work when i first hooked it up. nothing worked so i just googled it and it turns out you have to really ram it into the controller connector port to get it to work.
this is way better than the virtual keyboard with just the analog stick pointer. only downside is it will take me a bit to get used to it as ive never texted on a phone for more than a short message so im not used to this small of a keyboard. also i need to look at the keypad while im typing since im not used to it yet. __ i also dont have a qwerty on said phone so its even worse as far as small keyboard experience goes.
i just noticed that the f and j keys do have raised points to indicater where you are on the keypad. i think this will work out in the end.
it also lights up which is a help.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw? -
Just an update I thought maybe the ie app for the 360 actually did have flash but apparently not.
I went to a local tv stations website last night and was actually able to play a video on the website. So I tried another website that had videos and no go.
My thinking is it was html 5 video that did work and not flash.
If anyone can confirm it was the detroit tv station channel 4s website clickondetroit.com. I don't know if they use flash or html video. How can you tell that?
Anyway I went to g4tv.com that does do flash as far as I know and it would not work on the 360's ie app.
SO it might be if the website does html video it will play on the xbox 360 internet explorer app but it won't if its flash video.
just an fyi.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
