  1. I have downloaded two films in mkv with VC-1 (from Bluray). Since my Philips TV supports VC-1 only in .wmv or .asf I am searching how to change the container. Is there a method which could do this without re-encoding ?
    Thanks

There IS a convoluted method to remux from VC-1 in MKV to VC-1 in ASF, and you'll have to re-encode the source audio into WMA anyway. But I'm afraid I can't give you more information, since it appears you have downloaded WAREZ.
