I have 75 video clips, all M2ts 1920x1080p 59fps files that I used Freemake video converter to convert to Mpeg-4 1280x720p 59.94fps and joined them together. So it plays back on my pc with a lot of stuttering? What did I do wrong? I placed both the source m2ts video files from mediainfo and the created Freemake video files here so you smart people could maybe see what I did wrong.

I suspect the software hard problems reading your source file. Step through the file you created frame by frame. Are motions smooth or do you see jumps and repeated frames?

Ok my bad. It was my PC that was causing the stuttering. Actually, it plays good. Freemake did this conversion very fast (I used 1 pass fast conversion). It is over 7 GB of video that it converted in only a few hours. I did similar conversion using Bigasoft video converter and it took about 9 hrs! And bigasoft did not join the files together. Does anyone know a software that just joins files together?

Have you tried join with tsmuxer? First add the m2ts and then click join for the rest. Output as a new m2ts.
Maybe it works to join with copy /b command line also(or use a gui for it like vobmerge, open the .m2ts files(select all files), make new m2ts file). If the new m2ts doesn't play correctly remux it with tsmuxer.
Or join the mp4 files? -
my last attempt to you and then i promise I'll shut up
, you seem to go in circles to find your solution, I'd do this:
(even if #1 did not work you still have excellent media player at your disposal to play those Vegas files of yours for #2 solution)
#1. Check if avidemux works for you (I just joined about 10 Panasonic TM700 50p clips together)
Join your clips in Avidemux 2.6.0 , video-copy, audio-copy, save as mpeg TS muxer, just drop them one by one or at once from explorer. After that I'd recommend to remux that TS file into MKV then with mkvmerge but even just that TS file alone seems to be fine. And then you get WDTV Live plus. http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Western-Digital-WD-TV-Live-Plus-Digital-HD-Media-Streamer-/97507552
Or
#2.get Vegas Movie Studio, read manual, load your clips , join clips into movie and encode to whatever you want.
