    Hi.

I want to make the i am legent 2 in 1 mkv file that has the theatrical and the alternative ending into one and only stream but with the alternative ending NOT with the classic.

How i can do that with programs like mkvtoolnix or tsmuxer(Is there any program like that but with latest updates)?

As i see that program DOESN'T accept mkv files at all so i can't make one mkv file with multi streams to one mkv with only one stream.

    Thanks for your time.

    Ignore that.

Delete one video track with mkvmergegui? And save as new mkv.

I know how to use the mkvtoolnix if it was so easy i don't create topic for that.

The fact is that the movie "i am legent 2 in 1" it has the same stream and the only thing is change is the last 5-10 minutes of the movie to choose which end you want the theatrical or the alternative.

I want to make the movie mkv file with one and only stream with the alternative end NOT the theatrical.

Can you open the mkv in mkvmergegui and give us the details what you see under the streams?

Here it is the mkvtoolnix picture you asked me.

As i see the alternative end is split to some chapters that the basic movie doesn't have so how i can make one mkv file only with that alternative end video stream?

Here is the chapter file i extract from the mkv file with program mkvextract2gui.

YOu must probably cut it manually as it just contains chapters points to the different endings. Or RERIP from your original blu-ray.

So based on that chapter file i make extract i can extract only the alternative end of the movie and then simple add it to the movie?

  12. You have to rip it from BD as a whole, both movie versions, theatrical and alternative version and make two MKV's for either version. It seems that you cannot play something like mkv chapter playlist or you cannot set a condition within movie to ask viewer how to proceed with further playback.

The only thing that would make some tolerable sense and make it somehow interactive to choose ending would be to have three parts for that movie on hardisk in right order - beginning, theatrical ending, alternative ending. You'd have to press play with remote control to play files in folder subsequently (not enter) where those two endings have a force caption at the beginning that right now it is theatrical version played (or alternative ...) so if you do not wish to proceed you just press next on remote control and it will start to play alternative ending.

  13. I just google manual for mkv, I got this: http://www.bunkus.org/videotools/mkvtoolnix/doc/mkvmerge-gui.html#global_title
so there might be a chance to link those segments somehow together, you might make it work , meaning matroska would proceed to play next file automatically

Yes it did the chapters but HOW i can simply make a new mkv file with ONLY the alternative end and audio just a full movie NOT the theatrical end that this mkv has inside by default.

You have to manually cut it out the theatrical ending then. You can cut with mkvmergegui, but it has no preview... Maybe avidemux. And then remove the linked chapters.

If i do it manually then the end it is a complete differrent fps by other movie with result the subtitle don't fit at the end of the movie so this is useless...
