I am sorry if i am posting in the wrong section but i have no other way other than asking here.I am sure people here will help me out ..Here's my query:
    ************************************************** *************************************
I have Intel C2D 2.8 Gigs Processor and Intel DG 31 PR Motherboard.
    I have 20" Samsung 2033SW LCD monitor.
Normally its resolution options will be 800x600,1024x768.so on ...upto the maximum (and optimum of coarse) of 1600x900.
    I have Windows XP SP3 .
    I use 1600x900
Past one month when i boot into windows some other resolution is displayed. When i tried to change it in Display properties>Settings i have so many resolution options that are even relevant to a 20" monitor. Now the maximum resolution is 2048x1536.The normal maximum would be 1600x900 But here i see 1600x1200 1792x1344 ......up to the maximum 2048x1536.
Here i tried to set it 1600x900 but the display is pushed to the right.I even tried re installing a fresh copy of Windows but the problem still persists.I have tried UN-installing graphics driver and installing a fresh one but in vain. Please help.I have attached images of screenshots

Moving you to our computer section.

It seems that you have tried everything....but you could try update the monitor driver under device manager->monitor or maybe delete it and reboot.

  4. first download and get the drivers for your minotaur. From Samsung /CD /DL.
The delete thiose two moniros in device mgr.
    Then reboot ..
When system asks for device drvrs for your monitor point to correct file.
    All will be well.
