Use WLMM with WMM6

Is it possible to edit in windows live movie maker the latest version as of 11-26-12, then import to the older version window movie maker 6 so as to gain the ability to finalize in DV-AVI ?

This is what pop's up when i try opening a WLMM in WMM, "The file C:\Users\Russ\Videos\WLMM to WMMMy Movie.wlmp cannot be imported because the codec required to play the file is not installed on your computer. If you have already tried to download and install the codec, close and restart Windows Movie Maker, and then try to import the file again.

I doubt that the older wmm supports the newer wlmm projects.
