Hi there,
In my home theater system, my TV, PS3 and A/V Onkyo Receiver are all connected using HDMI cable. Since PS3 won't play DTS when playing video from its harddrive. To get around Cinavia, I've been patching DTS to LPCM and then when playing every time audio is gone, I change the year on PS3 and sound is back.
Unfortunately my A/V receiver cannot connect to internet. My router is also getting old so I'm thinking about buying a new one. Here are my 2 questions:
Is there a device that I can plug into my A/V receiver that can play either streamed or from it's hard drive, DTS audio so I don't have to worry about Cinavia. Thanks for your input.
- Can anyone suggest a good wireless router for streaming HD 1080 video? Should I buy newer AC or just N Dual Band routers? I've two PC's that can support N std and one can support G. My current router is old Linsys that supports G that I bought almost 10-12 years ago.

Western Digital's media players are pretty easy to find in the USA. I have a Western Digital WDTV Live (older model). It works pretty well but the remote is too small (newer versions have better remotes). It has it's quirks. I recommend you search for "media player" at Amazon.com or NewEgg.com. Then read the user reviews there.
