  1. I seem to have misplaced the Disc2 (TransferUtilities disc) that came with the purchase of Canon Vixia HF M31 camcorder. Does anyone have it or know where I can get it from.

I have looked at the Pixela website but they don't have any option to download the original, they only have updates.

I talked to Canon and they say they can't help me

Does anyone know any place I can buy? I hope I don't need to buy it, but if that is my only option, I guess I have.

    THank you so much.

what do you need it for? either read the files off the sd card or use the cam's usb port to copy the files off to the computer.

  3. Hi aedipuss. Thanks for the reply. I am sorry for stating it wrong, I actually have the Transfer Utilities Disc1 and was able to copy the .mts and .cpi files to my laptop.

The Disc2 which allows to 'manage and edit' the videos is missing. This Disc2 is the one that allows to create DVDs or BDs from the videos. So, I am actually missing the important disc

    Thanks again

plenty of freeware here that will do better than any giveaways from canon. try some of the all in one dvd or blu-ray software on this page.

  6. Treetops, I am not very tech savvy but it looks like my googling us bad too. I definitely tried first on Google but looks like my search words weren't right. Thanks so much, I will purchase this.

Aedipus, I will look into the tools also. As you have guessed by now, I am not too techy. If they are easy to use and have decent manual it will help someone like me. Best part I noticed is these tools are free. Thanks again.
