Greetings,
Here's my problem:
I imported an MPG-2 file to Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 and then realized that the indexed file was at 2 min, instead of the original 7:15. The original had the content, from 2:01 on, cropped to the end.
My steps:
1. This was an .MTS file that I converted in Wondershare Video Converter (this is the first problem of its kind with this conversion). Then, I simply imported the file using File>Import
2. I wait for Premiere to index and it all looks and runs fine, except it has been cropped all the way down to 7:15.
Haven't had any such problems with this prior. I even reconverted the original .MTS file in Wondershare and the same result.
Thanks ahead for any help you can provide.

GIve more information from the mts files. Use mediainfo, open mts, view->text and copy everything.
Or try convert to avi or mp4 with your converter.
Or try another converter like https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-video-converters
