DVD Works in VLC, Not In Standalone/PowerDVD Player

I'm trying to burn a DVD that, in PowerDVD, looks like this:


When I play it in a standalone player, it plays the first second or so, before stopping. The menu and menu transition work fine, it's just the main timeline that's the problem.

In VLC and in Encore's preview, it plays fine.

What's causing this and how do I fix it?

We need more info how you authored and burned, many variables. My guess it's a bad burn on bad media so use ImgBurn and quality DVD blanks.

That's the ISO image file. The VOB displays the same way. It was authored in Encore. I've tried building an ISO and VOB files, both screw up in PowerDVD but are fine in VLC.
