Hello-
I am trying to transfer VHS tapes to my PC using the ADVC110. The unit seems to have solved the syncing issues I was having with other devices, but now I am only getting audio from one speaker.
I have tried different software including Windows Movie Maker, ArcSoft Showbiz and WinDV, all with the same results.
The tapes sound fine playing on a TV (both speakers in use). I have tried bypassing the tv and connecting the vcr directly to the advc110, same result. I can move the sound from the right speaker to the left, if I switch the cables around, so it's not my computer speakers, I've also tried different cables. I've searched various forums and can't find anything similar, so I'm out of ideas.
The VCR is a Sony SLV-N500 (hi-fi stereo)
I am running windows xp on my desktop (Sony VAIO).
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

advc110, one channel is not working
if it is possible, you can try connecting audio from vcr directly to line in of your sound card.
