  1. I'm testing some 99min 870mb cdr's, making svcd/vcd's with them. I'm using NERO v5.5.6. The question I have is; what are the tweaks/settings I have to set in NERO to extend recording beyond 870mb..? (ex. as with 80min 700mb cdr's you can actually go beyond those limits, with video, and record closer to 800mb on the 700mb cdr)

    Thanks

  2. This post explains how to change Nero settings.

By the way, you can actually fit 990MB of video on a 99min cdr.
The above post also gives some good info on that.
(Basically, the 870 is for data with error correction. Video/audio
    is 1 min = 10 mb.)

Finally, your cd writer (and maybe standalone player) is going to
be the weak link. The CD Writers list to the left identifies some that
    work with 99min cdrs.

  3. You can fit up to 999mb of video on a 99min cdr. That takes it up to 99minutes and about 58 seconds but thats pushing the cd format to the limit.

The most i have burned so is 995mb which is 99minutes and 48 seconds i think.
