  1. I'm adding subtitles on my video, using NERO 12 Premium.
Editing text, a shadow is automaticly added.
I don't want that letter shadow but - even with the manual - I don't find how to remove (or reduce) the shadows.
    Can anybody help?

  2. I don't think you can adjust that with Nero. If you're making a DVD, you can change the it with PGCedit or IFOedit, but I don't think it's a good idea. That shadow is there to make subs more readable, it's very hard to read yellow subs against a snowy scene like the one on the mountain top in Shooter.

nic2k4 is likely correct that you can't adjust it, but you may need to find a Nero forum or ask Nero themselves. Around here Nero is not well respected and our experienced members don't use it. It's a got a well deserved (in my opinion) reputation as a "jack of all trades, master of none" kind of program so it would be typical if you had no way to remove the shadows. But if there is a way we're not likely to know what it is around here.

  4. Solution found!
In Nero 12 one can work in the express mode or in the advanced mode.
In the express mode I can not change the shadow, but it works in the advanced mode.
A small button makes a world of difference. You just have to find it. One of my grandchildren found it.

I'm adding text with ... Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0 ... there is an interactive guide to show you how to add text.

    See my post >> https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/350594-Adding-scrolling-text-from-the-beginning-of-the-video

  6. Walter, can you explain how you removed the shadow from text in advanced editing? I'm trying to do the same thing and haven't figured out yet how to do it! Thanks!
