I use Google Photo Screensaver on my WinXP PC. On some photos I get captions describing what's on the photo. I immediately assumed the text was accessible so I looked in the file properties but there was nothing there. Is the text hidden in some kind of metadata and how do I access it and edit it?

You can use IrfanView for reading and editing the JPG metadata.

OK, I installed it and searched the whole menu system but couldn't find anything to use. Where should I be looking?

Open a .JPG file, then press the key "I".
