I've been trying to edit a DVD and re-author it, but so far no luck. The editing consists of removing three scenes from the dvd. What would be the best way to do this.
My goal is to keep the exact structure as it is now (so menu's chapter, trailers and whatever), just the main movie without the three scenes.
Should I first demux everything and than mux it together?
Edit: I've extracted the subs allready in a .txt file.
Thanks in advance!

So now I've the following problems. First I need to convert the mpeg2 file to .vob files and mux the subtitles together with them. Then I've to update the .ifo files so everything fits nicely together again. I've allready tried this, but it didn't work. Do you know any tools and ways I can accomplish this? If needed I can upload files or pictures of how it looks like.
How are you doing that? And how does it not work?
You can read the dvd subtitle replace guide that I made for some tips, https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/277950-How-to-add-new-subtitles-to-an-existing-DVD (method 2)
"Edit & Re-author DVD with same structure" - WHY? Why does it need to have the SAME structure? If "similar" works, you could easily author in ANY dvd authoring app (free or pay) and probably include subs to boot.
VobBlanker can easily do what you want. He even mentioned checking the VobBlanker guides on the VobBlanker page. To make it easier for you, since apparently you don't know what to look for, I'll link to the applicable guide below:
