    I have a Kodak PlaySPort zx5 but when I connect it to my pc the ArcSoft MediaImpression software and windows explorer don't recognise the camera? Any ideas?

    Is that the software that came with the camera? Are you using a USB or Firewire cable?

    does it show under "Computer,Devices with removable storage " ? did u try another USB connection? you don't need a driver for windows to recognize your camera

    The problem appears to be that the camera keeps switching itself off and it needs to be on for the Kodak Share Button app to work.

    I'm guessing/hoping this thing only records photos to the built-in memory and records video the the SD card?
    Invest in a card reader to get the videos to your computer.
