  1. Hello,

I have a LG BD370C and am experiencing issues playing certain files. I transfer them to USB and plug it direct into the player.

I tried downloading the latest firmware for this player, and the problem is still there. It doesn't effect the the audio, only a blotchiness with the visual. It seems to be hit and miss with different tv shows and movies.

I'm not a real techy type, so any assistance with this issue would be greatly appreciated.

  2. The videos were encoded with settings not supported by your player. You'll have to re-encode them with something like Handbrake, Xvid4psp, Megui, etc.

  4. Also, another issue. I plug my 4 gig hand held USB stick in the DVD player and it works like a gem.

But when I plug my 1.5 T external hard drive it doesn't recognize it as a device.

    Any ideas??

  5. Probably the file system: FAT on the stick, NTFS on the hard drive. You'll have to reformat the hard drive as FAT32.

  6. Ooohh, interesting news with the external. Can it be reformatted without removing everything I have on it?

Also, I downloaded Megui and it seems very user friendly, however when I go to "re-encode" them some files are available, and some not. Another hit and miss issue.
