  15. Great info in this thread. I've been trying to download last weeks episode of Love/Hate but without success.

The URL is as follows, although its only valid for the rest of today:

    http://www.rte.ie/player/ie/show/10205687/

I've tried to extract the URLs and think I have it right but it's not working:

    me@pc:~$ rtmpdump -r "rtmpe://fmsod.rte.ie/rtevod/" -W "http://www.rte.ie/static/player/swf/skin_osmf2_2013_05_15.swf" -y "mp4://2013/1006/20131006_rteone-lovehate_cl10205687_10206011_260_drm_/20131006_rteone-lovehate_cl10205687_10206011_260_drm__512k.mp4" -o "test.flv"

One thing this video has on the website is an 'are you over 18' check I don't suppose that could be complicating things?

Anyway this isn't mega-important to me, was looking into this as RTE in their wisdom are not broadcasting this in HD, thought the stream might offer better quality but @512k that's not gonna be the case. But at this stage it's more of a curiosity to me to work out how this can be done. I've attached a packet capture of the interaction with the server if that helps at all.

    Hi folks,

You can get directly to your stream URL if you use the feeds URL:
    Code:
    http://feeds.rasset.ie/rteavgen/player/playlist/?type=iptv1&showId=10226532
You just change your show ID.

On a side note. I am trying to develop an RTE player app for my Humax HDR T2 receiver using a custom portal I wrote as a base. I have added an RTE Player app based on the rasset feeds above and parsing the content.

I can't figure out how to play the stream though.

The Humax portal is based on the Opera browser so my portal and RTE player app are written in HTML/Javascript.

Do any of you know how to play these streams in a browser where flash isn't available?

    Thanks,
    Mcquaim
