  1. Thanks aazerty...

Now I've installed PHP correctly, and entered the command you gave me in the command prompt, and I'm getting this message:

"Could not open input file: AdobeHDS.php"

Any helpful suggestions for a novice?

  10. Hi all,

I'm having trouble downloading from RTE radio player, what I thought would be a simple enough process looking for the .swf file...
Had no luck with RTMPE rip before as I'm on a mac and the software was only for windows (was saved by the helpful posters here!) Does anyone have experience downloading from the radio player?
This is the programme I'm trying to get: http://www.rte.ie/radio/utils/radioplayer/rteradioweb.html#!rii=17%3A10357123%3A18710%...2D12%2D2014%3A

Any help or advice very much appreciated!

  12. Thanks for the URLs sysanin!

Still no luck however - the best I've managed to get so far is connecting and then "rtmp server sent error", "rtmp server requested close"
I'm obviously doing something wrong with the URL but the more I change it the worse it gets. The radio URLs are slightly different to the video ones so I could be cutting out the wrong parts.. I'm a bit of a noob at this!

    This link is bad
    "rtmpe://...drm_.mp4"

    Cheers .

Lol. By the time you find someone capable of finding the link you could have recorded it with Audacity.

That is true! Figured I would worsen the quality with Audacity somehow. Got the pm - thank you so much!

I was using rtmpdump, it was the only one I could find for Mac, but was inputting the URLs wrongly somehow, different error messages each time.
Thank you everyone for all of your help! Great helpful posters on this forum and this thread.

  27. Okay so I got it working .

The adobeHDS.php file in the media fire link didn't work for me so I got a version from

    https://github.com/K-S-V/Scripts/blob/master/AdobeHDS.php

    and that worked.

Before trying to DL from "https://github.../AdobeHDS.php"

    Cheers .

  30. Forget all that just use (Streaming Video Recorder) version 4.9.2 (open it up before you open rte player) play the programme on the rte player that you want to download and it will capture the ads the 512k and the 1024k,you can see the files when fully downloaded just press open folder bottom right off (Streaming Video Recorder) hover over the files you will see the one with 1024k,it's as easy as that,if it doesn't work the first time close up everything and reopen (Streaming Video Recorder) the rte player and repeat the process,if it works for me it will work for you...
