  3. GoldenEye was pretty amazing. I know a lot of people didn't enjoy Quantum of Solace, but it's my second favorite after GoldenEye.

    Thanks Johns0.

I voted Goldeneye but truth be told I don't really have a favorite.

I think my favorite action scene is the Beemer Screamer sequence in Tomorrow Never Dies, GADGETS GALORE!!

I've grown to accept Daniel Craig as Bond. I am glad there will be a Q in this movie. Though I wonder how gradually they'll role gadgets back into the movies. They don't have to go overboard but a nod to the old days would be good

Obviously I plan to go see the new one.

I just bought Goldfinger on Bluray to increase my high def Bond collection. The main reason being the movie cash it had on for the new movie. So it basically paid for itself with the Best Buy price reduction.

I have them all on dvd or bluray. I"m now at 7 on bluray (well really 6 since Never Say Never Again isn't TRULY a Bond movie).

I seen some of them, but why wasn't the 1967 David Niven / Peter Sellers one in the list: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0061452/? That one has always been my favorite...

Same reason that Never Say Never Again isn't - its not an "official" 007 movie. Its not by Broccoli or whatever the original director/producer guy was.

  8. Me liked (unofficial) bond - Rowan Atkinson in Johnny English.

  9. Didn't really like any of them.

I saw the first three in 1964 at a drive-in triple-feature, IIRC. Though I fell asleep towards the end of From Russia with Love. My family was on vacation at the 1964 New York World's Fair. We were in a VW microbus and there was some difficulty about accommodations. But my Dad was very cheap, so I'm not sure.

  10. I can't say I've watched any of them all the way through. And I don't remember which ones I've seen parts of. Not really a Bond fan.

  11. All the Sean Connery ones, except Never Say Never Again. The rest sucked.

  12. I am a fan of all the James Bond movies. I fully accept Daniel Craig as James Bond. "Quantum Of Solace" was a disappointment to me. I hated that super fast poorly lit action scene right at the beginning. Beyond that I thought James Bond was a real jerk in that movie. The director and writers of that movie should never ever be allowed near a James Bond project ever again. Hopefully "Skyfall" will redeem the franchise because the movie I described was horrible. If I had to pick a favorite I would probably say it is a tie between "Goldfinger" and "Live And Let Die". I hope Dame Shirley Bassey gets to sing another Jame Bond song in some future Bond movie.

Why? it stars Sean Connery as James Bond? It may not be an official James Bond movie but it is a Bond movie...

My favorites, in no particular order (but chronologically): From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Live & Let Die, Die Another Day, Casino Royale. I prefer Connery mostly, but quite like Craig, and Brosnan and Lazenby is OK. I can even understand Dalton's take on it. Moore was real GOOD in the first 2 but then got more and more CLOWNISH. Probably would have said I like them all, but...

  16. I like them all but the Roger Moore ones from the 70's are my favorite. The original Casino Royale starred David Niven and was a spoof of the series, that's why it isn't considered a official 007 film.

    Seriously - none of them.

Roger Moore was "The Saint" (and was great). As Bond, fail.

There was a bond with MOORE where he WAS a clown at the end. Can't remember which of his it was. It was where he had to disable the bomb in the clown tent at the circus.

Ah thanks. I knew somebody would remember.

I knew it wasn't For your eyes only. That was about the most serious one for Moore.

  23. Skyfall is pretty good, it was the number one movie this past weekend and broke a box office record for a Bond film.
