  1. Hi,
Since 4 days and nights I try to make a svcd with Dvd2svcd but it still donŽt work! I use the newest version of Dvd2svd with the CCE encoder v2.50.

Everytime I start a copy the CCE encoder simply stops without any error messages!!! It simply stops after several hours at different points each try!
Things I have tried are: turning of any standbymodus, making 10Gb of free disk space, try to rip the dvd in 2 steps by choosing the chapters. But nothing seems to help!

So what can I do! Please help!

    My system:
    Asus A7V133, 1200Mhz Athlon, 256Mb Ram, Win98.

theres a couple of things i would try:
    1. try to re-download the program and re-install it.
    2. try it with a different video file. maybe that file has been corrupted.

  3. thanks,
I will try it but I think that wonŽt help. I even tried different DVDs.
Is it possible that the program use more space than I can see? What about the different passes? The video is calculated 5 times. Does the programm save all 5 videos? So may be I need more than 10Gb free space!?

Just a newbie here, and maybe I shouldn't say anything but I will..lol..
I had this exact same problem a couple nights ago with the movie "Frequency" or "Contact" (forget which one). I had forgot first to play the movie for 5 minutes in my DVD player to "unlock" it. Did you try that?

oh yeah, I use DVD2SVCD and never had a problem with it. Hopefully you figure out what went wrong with yours.

I will shut up now.... :P
