Mp4 Video with Mp3 Audio

Hello, I had downloaded many tv shows from internet and want to convert to mp4 format with the audio format mp3.My dvd player plays general mp4 format with mp3 sound, it does not play the avc or H264 format mp4 videos with sound of aac format and will give error i.e codec not supported.

so please suggest any software which will convert my videos to general mp4 format with the audio format mp3.

I would convert to avi divx/xvid video and mp3 audio with for example freemake video converter, format factory, winff, xmedia recode. Look for dvd player profiles in those apps.
