Magix Movie Edit Pro Plus 17 + transporter effect [solved]

Hi

I have been trying to add a transporter effect (like those in star trek) with MEP 17 and could only find a youtube guide for MEP 14 here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GxK50b49_6k as there are differences between the versions on where the effects are I am assuming the alpha mode in 17 is now under chroma key mix alpha which is what I have tried to use (along with the colour and stamp modes).

I cannot seem to get the effect to overlap the person who is beaming UP. Please Help!

Solved it now, instead of setting a background to the image that is black and white - import it as a separate file. It does show this in the video however I was using one of the background effects by magix and ended up manually locating this file where it was installed and loaded it in that way.
