I'm experimenting with a view to making the final frame of a video continue for a few seconds i.e. to end on a freezeframe. I've just managed to do it using Windows Movie Maker as follows:
Loaded a 12 second video.
Took a snapshot of the final frame (which creates a png file).
Made 60 copies of the png.
Loaded those 60 copies to my Movie Maker 'project'.
Saved project.
My thinking was that, at approx 30fps, the 60 copies of the final frame would run for 2 seconds making a total video of 14 seconds. The new vid lasts almost 8 minutes!! Can anyone suggest what's occurred here?

You don't need 60 copies of anything.
Look in the help to see how to set the time a still is displayed.
Example: Divide 60 X 8 minutes and that's your default still time. You need to change that. Or change the framerate. -
Sorted, thanks budwzr. It took me ages to find out how to make that duration change...
