    Hello,

    What is the easiest qucikest way to add letter boxing to a mkv or avi as outlined in the subject. I have some movies I would like to view but the DVR we have insists on stretching them to be full screen.

    any program you like. you need to re-render to 1920x1080 with whatever you choose. there are dozens - handbrake, vidcoder, mediacoder, xmediarecode, etc...
