  1. is there way to manage all the mp3 files in the system with a software? the software should be able to arrange the songs in album, artist, or title. it should be able to find out a particular song when required to. thanks

    Keep in mind if you want to manage your MP3s properly, it's a good idea to make sure they're tagged correctly. Most media players will edit/save tags, but I'm quite partial to using MP3Tag for that job. There's different formats used for tagging MP3 files. You probably want to save tags using the ID3v2.3 format. ID3v1 is older and pretty widely supported by hardware/software players but it's more limited than ID3v2.3. The newest format, ID3v2.4, seems to have spent much of it's life being largely ignored. I'm pretty sure foobar2000 saves ID3v2.3 tags to MP3s by default these days.

    But anyway, as most players will use MP3 tags as a means to manage them, ultimately how accurately your MP3s are tagged will determine how well they can be organised.
