I have a number of unfinaized dvd where I am able to get a .gi file and/or iso. I want to convert these and watch on my computer or on a tv. Which would be better Mpeg 2 or Mpeg? Also is there a program that one would recommend. I have tried a few trial versions of programs and freeware and each have good and bad points. I am looking for one that produces good quality and able to edit the video before saving to mpeg format. Also works with whichever video format is better.

dopey questions. the only format you should get out of an iso or gi is whatever is in the image to begin with. change it later if you want to.
